Any suggest for model or age range? Tang stamp is KA-BAR (all caps) over Olean N.Y. No other markings. Blade= 4 3/8", overall 9".

You have a well worn model 572 dating 1945-1947 or 48. Blade was originally 4&1/2" and a bit wider.
