Old Pal Cutlery Knife

If anyone has any info on PAL cutlery I would appreciate it. I have an old (at least 25 yrs I'm guessing) knife inherited from my great uncle. It is a 3 blade knife with a clip master blade, sheepfoot and leather punch. The master blade is stamped PAL CUTLERY CO. MADE IN USA. Handles are a black jigged synthetic. Any info would be great. Thanks

Your knife is most likely older than 25 years, as PAL used the PAL CUTLERY CO. stamping from the mid 30's until it went out of business around 1953. The knives were made primarily in Plattsburgh, NY.
PAL was the company that bought Remington's knife business, when Remington stopped making knives to concentrate on it's firearms, around 1940.
It sounds like a "Cattle Knife" pattern from your description. A picture or two would be nice, though it will be hard to pin down dates much tighter than the above time period.

Thanks for the info. I am attaching a photo, hope it works- I'm new here. The knife is in decent shape. I cleaned it up lightly after finding it in my uncle's tackle box years ago. It walks and talks nicely. It took a shaving sharp edge fairly easily. I guess its older than I thought- anything else you can tell me is appreciated. Thanks again...Nick
