All About Pocket Knives

Here is one of my favorite Spyderco Knives. The model name is the "Civilian" but I call it the "S.O.B." because whenever I show it to someone the first thing they always say, is "SON OF A BITCH" what kind of a knife is that? Here are the specs and the knifes origin.

In the 1990s Spyderco was approached by a specialized branch of U.S. law enforcement about making a knife for their undercover agents. These plain-clothes LEOs found themselves in situations where they often could not carry a firearm but carrying a knife was not a problem. Most had no formal training in self-defense tactics or MBC but as a last resort could use a blade to protect or extricate themselves from a life-threatening situation. This was how the Civilian model came to be.

That is one unfriendly looking knife, Mitch.

Definitely a slasher and not a stabber. That is one vicious letter slitter and package disemboweler.

The HANG man uses it to cut the rope if his friend is at the end of his hang mans noose ??
