Hello all,
My question is: did Queen Cutlery make the Winchester reproduction knives of the late 1980's? If so, what role did Bluegrass cutlery play in this? I just bought a large black bone whittler on eBay marked Winchester trade mark made in U.S.A. I'm hoping it was made by Queen. If so I will know it is a quality knife. Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry I didn't give more information. Reverse of master blade reads: 3904 88 which I assume is model number and date of manufacture.

Hi Jerry,
Yes Queen Cutlery did make the reproductions of the Winchesters for Blue Grass Cutlery back then and Blue Grass marketed the knives. These knives are very high quality and usually quite collectable.
How about sharing a picture when you get the chance, this way we can be sure that what you have is indeed one of those knives..

Thanks, Sunburst. I just won it last night and it'll be a few days before I get it. You can check out the seller's picture. It is eBay item # 330205529466.

You got it for a good price, jands40! They are worth more with the box though.
