All About Pocket Knives

I am the original owner and this is the first GEC knife i bought. Made in 2006, the very first run of the #73 pattern, serial # 088.
There is a pin crack on the front side at the bolster end. It arrived with this crack but it is such a beautiful knife and i was so lucky to get it that i did not consider returning it.
Half stops, flush & square joints, pull about a '6', excellent snaps, no play.
This is a difficult one for me to let go of but it is now time to pass it along to another collector who can appreciate it's beauty and significance.
Note, there is no tube or pattern number, these developments started in 2007. And GEC still had not decided on which knives were to be "Tidioute" and which ones would be "Northfield".

Looks like a nice one, Roland. I am always a sucker for nice stag, and that style of tang construction always catches my eye (fully to the edge of the bolster when closed, not sure of the technical term).

Roland….that’s incredibly funny, I have #87 of the 73 but mine says 2007? And I also have a pin crack…and I would be willing to part with mine. Larry
