All About Pocket Knives

I have an old multi tool stamped H. Katzbach Solingen on the blade, 830-S NE? NF? on the case. It has hunting and fishing scenes on it. Anyone know the age or value? It has use wear and I have made no attempt to clean it.

There are many older German multi-blade knives 'out there'. Some have red Fibrox handles others might have wood, stag, or stamped metal handles like yours. There are not many knife collectors who are interested in German knives hence supply exceeds demand and selling prices are therefore low.
If your knife was auctioned on ebay it might get $25 or even less.

Thank You. That may explain why I can't find much information about them.

830-s is the silver grade, or purity (83% silver, 17% alloy). It was common to use this kind of silver on utensils like knife handles, silverware, tea strainers, etc as it was more durable than the higher grade pure silvers. From what I can see it looks like someone bashed a homemade rivet through the handle at the blade end. That pretty much destroyed any value the knife might have had. I think Roland's right, $25 on a very good day, likely less.
