can anyone tell me what this thing is it was plowed up along with the points in KY.

I can't tell, even enlarging the photo, if that was made, or found. It may be a water worn stone, possibly utilized for some purpose. Indians were collectors too. I've found things like iron concretions and large crystals in places they wouldn't occur naturally.

That piece looks like compressed clay if you found it by the water or lime stone. I say geode.

Arrow/spear heads and shoulder blade??

i have looked at that photo over and over...damn anthropolgy degree, native american focus...duh.... i think the bone is used while doing leather work...rather like darning a sock...??? a stiff surface used to poke the needle against. i blew the photo up finally...duh...and you can see roundish indentation in the bone.

Looks like a mulit use tool from tenderizing meat to a flint knapping tool. Probably came in handy for a lot of things. Could have encouraged enemies to stay their distance(if used in close combat).

I know exactly what that "tool" is. Tilt your head to the left. It's the fossilized amputated foot of the guy who was making the flint knapped tools....I'll bet he said, "dang, that flint/obsidian blade was waaaaaay sharper than I thought it was"..

The two grey ones on the upper right look like South Jersey Cohannsie quartzite. What state are they from ?

They are all from my grandfathers farm in Northwestern North Carolina. He had coffee cans full of them when I was a kid. The Appalachian Trail goes right through the Mountain in back of his property.

My cousin is in Who's who in Indian Artifacts.

Sorry I will definately dust it off, it has been hanging on the wall in the spare room for a long time.
