Case on E-bay

Case XX 6235 1/2 Jack on E-bay, item #270205774041. I'm not saying this is fake but, for some reason or another something doesn't look right about it. Maybe it's the nail nick on the master blade? Anyone have the 411 on this knife by looking at the auction pictures?

Duffy, I don't know about the authenticity of this particular knife but CASE did make this pattern with this type of nailnick. I have some straight double XX's like this and I'm pretty sure I have some from this era with the same nailnick.

10-4 guys. I'd never seen a nail nick like that on a Case before. That's what had me wondering. Thanks, and keep up the good work! Oh, BTW, has anyone noticed that DD is moving into Schrades on the bay now?

DD bought some bulldogs as well........lost money on both!

Hey Duff, I bought the Ebay knife you brought up for question. It is one beautiful knife! The auction pic's don't come close to this baby.

Good catch you made there Kelley.
Now see, if it wasn't for this website I would have went the rest of my days thinking something was wrong with that knife.
It's a good thing when you can ask about a knife and get a answer that is right. That's how dummys like me learn.
BTW smoke, she's a pretty little thing too.

Thanks Duffy. It really is a Beaut! I will try to get some pic's of my newly accquired pre 1970 Case Redbone's up in a day or two. I don't have nearly as many as I would like....... but there is always another day and another knife!
