All About Pocket Knives

Hey Fine Folks,

I'm having trouble finding who made this knife. I've seen Rigid Pocket Knives made by Camillus, Canal Street and United. The previous owner of this knife believed that this knife was made by Case in 1978. Is this right?

Yes, Case made four patterns of slipjoints for Rigid, but it was a bit later, about 1982. Rigid I think was still under its original ownership then, before the name was sold.
