I assume this Hammer Brand is Imperial.
Not shell construction.
Very well built nice knife.
Celluloid handles.

I would venture that it is likely an Imperial. If the bolsters have a small tab on the end holding them on then it is definitely an Imperial.

Did all of the NYKC Hammer Brand folders have a NYKC tang stamped blade?

Missed that;my mistake.

I still believe it is an Imperial as I don't think NYKC made anything like that. Still a nice knife as are all the solid bolster Imperials I have seen.

Made by Imperial Schrade Corp. 1950's to 60's. Same patterns and tooling that they were using for the Ulster branded knives at the time.

Whenever you see the "USA" next to the Hammer Brand it's always Imperial. I think that all of the Hammer Brand stamped NYK knives also had an NYK stamp on the blades as well, generally on a secondary, none were stamped with only the Hammer Brand stamp that I've seen.
