All About Pocket Knives

This knife came in a lot I recently got from the Bay, the blade is shot the pile side was gassed out (I took the pile side scale off) and someone bead blasted it. I love that Celluloid! Anybody know who made it? I'm thinking of taking a old fishing knife switching the blade out and replacing the pile side scale with something. Thanks for the help.

I think that E-O notch was filed in long after the knife left the factory without one.

Robeson made such a knife with a somewhat centered nail notch, but the pull on that blade does not align with the notch.

And Robeson didn't put that shield on theirs.

It was an 060 pattern and I've seen it in Strawberry Bone and yellow celluloid.

They were 4 1/8” long.

The Christmas Tree celluloid on the OP knife was a cell that Robeson used.

The pattern number on such a knife from Robeson would have been 812060.

Note there is no shield.

Thanks for the replies, I forgot to add the OAL it's 4 ¹/¹⁶" I hadn't thought of the EO notch being added after the fact, I know I've seen some Utica and Remington knives with a similar Celluloid. But not in a pattern that looks like this one. It does look very similar to that Robeson minus a ¹/¹⁶ and the nail pull.

Looks like a Winchester knife. Pattern # 1060 didn't have a EO notch but as said this knife looks to have had the EO added at some time.

Another vote for Winchester (Walden, Keen Kutter).

Add another vote - I have had the identical knife (no EO notch) in both brands.
