This one started out as leftover parts from 2 47 patterns. However the blade was special. The owner had modified the pruner blade down to a sheepsfoot. He passed a few years back from cancer. I held onto it all this time, but finally decided to finish it in some stag (of course). I really liked how it turned out.

Glen,
When I first saw this picture, "rugged looking" came to mind! That would be a great EDC. As always another beautiful job!

BTW Glenn thank you for taking time to post pictures of your work. I am amazed at your skill level. Those who have never tried this think it is easy.
I look forward to seeing many future pics.

Glen that may be one of the best you’ve done. That mashes most of my buttons right there. As always, I’m a sheepsfoot fan, but that stag!!! Oh my! That’s about the best stag I’ve seen. Simply beautiful. Ya done well!

Thanks everyone! That stag was actually a light red round that I had from somewhere. Didn't have a lot of character, but enough. I dyed it a little darker. I like the brownish color with the reddish tones underneath.

Duuuuuuuude, I couldn't tell it was dyed and yeah, it looks great with the color and reddish highlights. Gorgeous. And great job modding the stag. A+.
