Nice show Ray. I don’t have many knives with art handles, and even fewer having metal with art. Here’s a few of mine though.

I imagine it was time-consuming, and therefore expensive, to produce those knives. They sure do look great, though. Thanks for sharing, gentlemen! (And thanks to Ken's descriptions, I was able to recall a better name for the side opposite the pile.)

Dan, on most of mine the images were stamped, so although it probably required some time and effort the artist who originally created the image, and then by whoever created the tooling die, creating the handle covers was fairly quickly done by simply stamping a sheet of metal using a press.
The exceptions would be the metal inlays on the old Rather, and the hand engraving on the custom Stone. Those must have been painstakingly done by the hands of highly skilled craftsmen. ::nod:
