First one I posted in the kitchen knives forum but I'm not sure it is a kitchen knife.Spear point blade with saw teeth on the top(cuts on the forward stroke).Blade measures just .034" thick! Wood scales held on with three heavy brass screws.Advertising hot stamped on blade for Bixby's Jet-Oil shoe polish.

Next is an Argentinian punal with silver handle and sheath.I have several of these that are smaller and larger;this one is an unusual(to me)size. When I got it,the knife refused to come out of the sheath. After soaking it in Aero Kroil for a couple days I managed to carefully pry it from the sheath. The blade was badly rusted but a little work with my belt sander and several grades of sand paper and it was looking half decent. No markings that I can see but it is definitely an older model. Not much money invested so it isn't any loss to re-profile it.

Nice knives ! I wonder if the top one is a gardeners knife? Root saw maybe? Strange with the Shoe Polish add though :?
