Question on Queen fixed blade

Just bought this Queen fixed blade knife (no sheath) and was wondering if anyone had seen one like it and could give me some info. It is a 1/8" thick, 6 7/8" blade, one inch wide blade with stag hidden tang constructed handle that has 5 spacers, white, red, white, red, and white, the red being about 3/16 thick and the white about 1/8. It has a 1/4" brass guard. The blade is etched with "Queen Steel" with the crown and the tang has the 1958-60 style stamp. The grind and blade shape is close to a Randall #3. The handle is sambar stag I'm sure. thanks in advance. Terry

I've never seen a Queen like that, but it's a beautiful knife.

thats it treefarmer! Exactly what I was looking for! That catalog is a 1960 and is called a number 78, combat/hunting knife. I've never seen one before. sold for $86.40 per doz. I hope it's worth more than that now! I pad about $65 for it on a online auction. Thanks for the info. Terry

A really fine looking knife. It looked so much like a Randall when I first saw it, my eyes popped a little.

Thanks for the reply, That blade shape is what attracted me to it. It is thinner than the randalls however. I think I will make a sheath for it and maybe put it on ebay and see what happens. Terry
