Did Case make a mini trapper in the 1940--64 era with rough black handles? How can you determine if a mini trapper frame is of the XX era or the tested era? thanks

Yes they made the mini trapper in rough black in the XX era. In the Tested era the frame has shorter bolsters than in the XX Era.
