All About Pocket Knives

Saw an M5 without a sheath in a shop over the weekend.Blade looked unsharpened(except for factory edge)and still black. They wanted $45 for it but I think I might be able to talk them down a bit.Anyone want to say whether I should go for it or just pass? No pics available.
