Obviously, a take-off on Knives In The News.
But, what do you carry to church?
Your regular EDC or do you have a special Sunday-Go-To-Meeting or Vest Pocket Knife?
Lately, today included, I've been carrying a single blade lockblade folder gifted to me by an AAPK member.
Sometimes, I carry this Robeson 742089 four blade pearl-handled Senator that has covered backsprings.
Often, I will carry the most recent purchase. It's a bonding ritual.

Today I had this one. Guess it was fitting for a Memorial Day service.

I carry this little rough black Tested XX 06267 to church every Sunday. Also a gift from an AAPK member.

Very fine Robeson pearl 4 blade Senator ! And big enough to carve your initials in the pew ahead of you.

More times than not I'm carrying my Canal Street congress knife, but occasionally I switch it up for one of the other knives in my EDC rotation. Regardless of what I'm packing I tend to take it out of my pocket and use it like a worry stone during the sermon. My wife will always give me the stink eye when I do this. I just like to hold a good knife in my hands when I'm sitting there and I'm gonna fondle a good knife when I get the opportunity!

Terrific idea for a thread, Charlie !
Sadly I don't attend a regular service anywhere
but if I did, the knife would probably be chosen like any other day .. .. ..

On a shelf in a bookcase in the living room I keep a small collection of penknives and "gentle-men's" knives, each in its own hand made leather slip. Each Sunday in what has become almost a ritual, I select a knife from there to take to church, usually a small Robeson or Case peanut, but lately more often a little 1940s Queen with worn jigged bone scales. Like Phil. I begin worrying them in my hand as the sermon gets long (My wife also gives me a sideways look).
This is the only use the collection of small knives sees. I am in jeans the rest of the week with an old barlow in my pocket.

I do carry different knives, but always try to make it one that looks good and is what I judge to be of above average quality. A few examples:

My knife in the pew at this time is a pretty little pocket worn Case TB62028 that came my way almost 6 years ago:
These little fellers sent it to me with the help of their mother:
The knife is practical for Sunday carry, meaningful for me when I pick it up because of who gave it to me.

I don’t get to sit in the pews, but I always have a good knife in the pulpit with me. Yesterday it was a Camillus 72, but usually it’s whatever edc has caught my eye that morning. Unless, that is, I have a new one that I need to show dad. Lol.

While in the pulpit I often reach into my pocket for my pocket knife. Lol. I don’t actually take it out of my pocket, yet. Lol

This is not one I carry to church each Sunday, but instead is one that was given out as a Father's Day gift to each father who was in church this morning.
It is an inexpensive knife, but I appreciate the thought, and I believe the message!
