Hey everyone, first time post. Just picked this beauty up, sadly it's kick spring is cracked. Was wondering if anyone could direct me to where I might be able to pick up a replacement kickspring and can anyone tell me if it's as easy as pulling the old one out and sliding a new one in or would I have to take the entire knife apart.. Tang is stamped inox, thats it, no other markings. I figure this is ither an old French, Italian or Spanish made lever . Any info would be appreciated

Your knife is French.
It needs to be taken apart, a custom spring made for it, and reassembled.

That's a beautiful old leverlock 1stL. The gentleman that told you what repairs are needed is an expert in automatic knives so you can bank on what he told you. BTW,
