All About Pocket Knives

Cheryl is going through her mother's files and possessions and she came across something
that my dear mother in law had saved years ago. This is an article that I wrote for the
USO publication "The Volunteer Voice" 10 years ago. That was back when I was a Team Leader
in the USO Service Center at DFW Airport. I had forgotten all about this until Cheryl found
it in Vera's files. As we approach Memorial Day I think it's something worth remembering.

A well written article. It reminds me of my old hometown newspaper from
years ago. There was a reporter for the paper who frequently wrote
articles on many topics like holidays, national/local historical
anniversaries, or just common everyday thoughts. His main responsibility
was to be a reporter, but I so looked forward to his articles. I use to
cut the articles out and give them to my daughter who was in school-
this is how someone shows you they have command of the English language.
Your mother-in-law recognized that!
