Hey y'all....

I just snagged this Remington Barlow to put into my "fix-it-up" pile.
I am trying to figure it out but I can't seem to find any pictures of a Barlow with a long pull main blade like this one.

BARLOW 2.jpg
BARLOW 3.jpg
(Above are the seller's pictures.....)

SO... It sorta looks like the pile side tang stamp says "R45" or maybe "R45xx"
Do you Remington guys have any idea....

What the main blade should have looked like from the factory?
I am afraid there is a lot of wear and the PO probably tipped it and reshaped it a bit....LOL

What do y'all think?

:D

I am wondering if this guy had a spey main blade to start with or if it was sharpened to be that way?

::shrug::

It has been sharpened, but Sargent's Page 336 looks just like it. ::tu::
