At Last!

After a number of failures, I have successfully pinned handles onto a knife and reassembled it the way it was meant to be assembled! Thes handles are not quite as fragile as the stone I was trying to use the last time, so it's only a partial victory, but I'll take it! This stuff was advertised as an acrylic--bought it off the 'bay--but it is tougher than other acrylics I have used, and harder to work. It did finally polish up pretty well, though, and I am pretty happy with the results.
This is another stockman (Ohio Cutlery) that had a broken secondary blade, so I took it down to one blade. The next project will have bone handles. I keep learning...

A nice new thin knife with one very useful clip blade.
It's good all the way around.

You learn a little more with each knife.
Good job on that one!

Looks great!. All you need is a little success, and then you can build on that with each knife you work on.

Nice work!

There is a steep learning curve at first. But that gets much easier with time, and is quite enjoyable. I still learn things when I work on a knife.
Thanks for posting your successes! Now on to the next challenge, and be sure to post pictures! We love pics!
