Welcome to AAPK. Sheepfoot (H) and Spay (P). Since so many blade types start with the letter “S”, Case uses the second letter of the blade name for the abbreviation in their pattern number tang stamps. Sometimes also seen as 6347 SHSP in descriptions.
You can find this and other useful information by clicking on “Research” in the header at the top of this page. Then scroll, down and follow the prompts. The section on Case blade abbreviations is here
https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/co ... d-by-case/.
BTW we weren’t the intended users of the abbreviations. Case factory personnel were. At the time those abbreviations were cocieved there weren’t any collectors like us obsessing over such details.
