Picked this one up recently , not sure of the age ? functions very well . Around 3 1/2” long closed . Top bolster hinges to release the blade to close .

Not particularly old. Maybe 20 years or so.

Great little knife Mike, and it appears to be in top-notch condition. When the top bolster moves to the side to release the tang pin from the lock-tab and close the blade, it's referred to as a "swivel bolster" model. Most of the newer knives(1962-present)use this system of closing the blade, and it replaced the "picklock" system of pinching the lock-tab with 2 fingers and pulling it back to release the blade. When you find an older "picklock" in this condition you've found a more desirable knife from a collectors point of view. Thought you might want to know the standard terminology. Mark!

John! If you're referring to me in this post, I appreciate the endorsement, but I am no where near having Bill's vast knowledge of these knives. Perhaps someday if I live long enough, but certainly not now. Thanks anyway though!

There's plenty of things I know about autos John, but to put me in the same league as Bill, well, I just don't fit. It sure is nice though to be thought of as knowledgeable about certain knives, thanks!
