I am setting in the waiting room at the hospital while my wife, Alyson has a biopsy. The Dr said to prepare for a cancer diagnosis.God is in control, Amen.

I will pray. I got a cancer diagnosis 4 years ago and I’m still doing well. Cancer is not a death sentence. God is faithful ... not only can he heal our bodies but he will. I am walking proof of his sustaining power. Bless you both and push back on the fear.... we know where that come from.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers for Alyson and myself. There have been 21 answers to my OP and all have been very encouraging. It's humbling to realize how many people actually care about other people. Some of you I have known for years and actually met in person others I've known you on the forum for years, and still others have you I've never met nor corresponded with in-depth.

One of the things that makes AAPK so incredible is the amount of friendship and even love between our members. It doesn't mean we don't disagree, it's just the friendship, camaraderie and shared interests draw us together even though most of us have never met in person.

Alyson and I are taking a little getaway to the Oregon coast, Sunday afternoon after church. We plan on staying there until Wednesday and then coming home. The doctor said we would know for sure about the results of the biopsy on Tuesday, the rest is in God's hands. I am at peace about it and I think my wife is too but the most part right now.

If I can get some nice ocean pictures I'll post them. I just get caught up in the moment when I'm somewhere to take pictures like on the coast or at a knife show. I am usually the last person to remember to take pictures.
