It's a Burrell/Case family knife. An heirloom.
Re: Pre 1920 case 165
Very cool knife John!! I was wondering if you made the Case kitchen knives Steve (Knifeaholic) has for sale a few posts down?? If I remember, I think you said Burrell made some knives for Case.

Gene, we sure made a lot of them. Back when Russell Osborne was President, we made all of their household. I remember delivering to the Quonset hut at the old Foster Brook facility. I’ll have to look at the ones your talking about.

Thanks John, I had thought you told me when we were in Little Valley you had made a lot of knives for Case, just wasn't sure of the era. I suppose my Case steak knives with wood slab scales I purchased new in the early 1970s were actually Burrell Cut Co made knives too.

Gene,
You would be right. I just saw a set of four "near mint" on eBay for $99.95 and it said sold I believe. I'm fortunate to have some around.
