Is this the predecessor to the U.S. Military Folding Knife.
Is there Name for this Knife, made in USA ? Maker of Knife ?

I don't know anything about your knife O.Y., but I highly doubt it's a Chinese build!

I think it’s a Kingston. USA made around ww2. They made different versions other than the standard 4 blade MLK knife.

These are the basically unmarked non standard knives I have that are like yours. Same dimpled monel scales. Carbon steel blades. Brass liners. Different blade configuration than the standard military 4 blade knife, but some of the same blades.

They were made by one of the American manufacturers. Ulster Imperial or Kingston. Kingston was a joint venture between Ulster and Imperial.

The one on the left I think matches yours and I have another one like it, but neither has a bail. Your bail doesn’t look quite right, so maybe it was added? None of mine have brass bails or pins.

I’ve wondered if they were made after the war to use up a surplus of parts? The castration knife is the only one that is real common.

I haven't seen one with a brass bail either. Interesting.

Kind of interesting that someone wore down the awl and the secondary blade yet the main looks unused.

They may have been re-purposed for a particular job that required that shape of blade.I have a couple unmarked 3 blade models;one has a pen blade and the other an awl.The secondary blade is a spey blade and neither of them has a bail.

I suspect the OP knife was marked on the bail (Kingston) but the bail was replaced along the way. Just my thoughts.
