Today I lost a good friend. My late Son-In-Laws father, Bill Rush 3. Just a year ago I lost my S.I.L. Bill 4 to pulmonary fibrosis he was 45. His dad had the same illness contracted at Camp Lejune North Carolina. Bill 3 was retired Military, 12 as a Marine 13+ as and Air Force Lt. Colonel Chaplin. Fair Winds and following Seas. ftd

Supposedly contaminated
water supplied to the base. The VA has fought the claim for years but just recently admitted it was a problem. Bill 3's claim for disability was routinely denied for several years. ftd

So sorry for your loss....
When underlying causes like this are in play, it always leaves a cloud hanging over a friend's parting.

Ferg I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost one of my good friends to the corona virus about three weeks ago so I can certainly relate to what you're experiencing. Prayers for you and all those he leaves behind.
