Tiny Knives - 1 1/2" or less

This is a project I have wanted to do for a while and am just getting all the ducks in a row now. The biggest problem has been with knives this small and having arthritis in the hands, it is not easy to open and pose these knives. So the thought occurred to me to hire an assistant to do this.Well I figured what would be better for posing tiny knives than a tiny assistant. I finally was able to find a tiny assistant, 12 inches tall that was able to come to my house and do the work, and the price was fair ($25 an hour isn't too bad). Well she showed up and I was quite surprised to see that the first thing she did when she got into the house was take all her clothes off. I guess at the time I hired her, she didn't say and I didn't realize she was a nude model. She said she jumped at the job because there has not been any work in this area lately for nude models because it has been below zero all or part of the day for the last 2 weeks. Well after I thought about it I came to the conclusion that it would not matter if she was totally naked as you guys would only be interested in looking at the knives anyway. So here is my tiny hired assistant Marge modeling with 2 tiny knives, both of which are less than 1 1/2 inches overall closed. Lets see your tiny knives that fit in under that length. I have to wrap it up now as Marge is getting becoming visibly chilled and needs to get her clothing back on.
The tiny knife in Marge's right hand is tang stamped Dixon Germany, the one in her left hand has a tang stamp, but it is too tiny to make out.

Only markings on tang is 228178.

Pretty cool ! The best I have is a 2" butterfly knife.
But in the age of litigation, and ladies named Karen, it's hard to imagine we used to get little knives like this in the gumball machines outside K-Mart lol !

Here are a few more. The Puukko, which has bone handles, is a tad over 1.5" but I snuck it in. The tiny jack is unmarked and the scout has bone handles, strong snap, and is marked "HAMILTON BROWN SHOES GERMANY." Not very practical but fun to collect.

The seller said it was hand made by his Grandfather in Solingen Germany.

Can we include entirely plastic knives? I've been thinking about buying a few knives intended for 1/6 scale (GI Joe size) figures that actually fold! There's a British Navy, British Army, the "Demo" knife, a Leatherman, a SOG (the two multitools are actually metal), and more than a few different tactical designs (I've seen Emerson, Microtech, offered. I have one or two around here somewhere.
But, this is a new one to me:
Just me, or does this look a whole heckuva lot like a Schrade Scrimshaw 194OT? This is supposed to go with a Hannibal Lecter action figure, but a knife from the '80s-90s doesn't sound correct to me. The seller is in Scotland, which makes this too expensive for me right now ($20 shipped, which I paid for an ACTUAL Schrade USA 94OT not too long ago).

Awesome display of tiny cutlery all. Attached are my only 2 that meet the criteria.
The little Missouri knife is Imperial and the other just says U.C. Japan.

I collected some small knives, but then I started to make my own fixed blade knives and similar cutting weapons.I might try some tiny folders this summer.
here are some photo's and they will cut but I don't make them too sharp to handle mostly just to be admired.

I am happy to see these are other knife collectors that like miniatures. All of my knives in the photo are 1 1/2 inches or less. The Wadsworth Scouts in the center are 1 3/8 inches closed. I have more photos if other members would like to see them

That’s a heck of a bunch !! Would like to see more, do you have pics of the Scouts in the middle of this pic you posted?

Well, I have only the one, which says only "MADE IN MEXICO"...
Low light photography, it being night and I'm too lazy to find something bright to use at my dining room table.

These are the smallest folder I have. 1/4 of an inch closed. Both have strong back springs and half stops.
