I believe that's an early Gerber LST. One of the knives that made history by Pete Gerber and Blackie Collins. The LST (light, smooth, tough) was the first knife to use injection molded (glass filled nylon) handles. It was an attempt to make a knife that was lighter than micarta and other traditional materials they were using at the time. Changed the industry forever. The stamp looks like 70s, maybe very early 80s, but if I recall the LST debuted in either 1980 or 1981.

The LST is my favorite Gerber. I have 7-8 including 2 of the OHO LST II’s. Why the LST II is a mystery to me

Haven't been able to be on here due to medical reasons but....
Looks like ya got a 82-83 LST
