Can you help I’d this knife with partial tang stamp?

This knife is 3 3/4 in closed with a partial tang stamp that looks to be a rainbow but the only visible letters are the last two, co. Underneath is says “ade in USA”. I first thought it was a schrade, but I think the ade is part of Made in USA. Can anyone tell from the pattern or the remnants of the tang stamp who the maker might be. I realize the co is probably company and that doesn’t narrow it much, but the appearance of a rainbow stamp might.

I am thinking that tang stamp probably reads "PAL BLADE CO" (or "PAL CUTLERY CO")over "MADE IN USA". I have a Stockman with that tang stamp and the same format, and PAL made a ton of knives like yours during WWII.

Thanks so much guys I appreciate it! I have a couple of PAL knives, Eisenhower types, one with jigged bone scales and it’s a beaut.

Leo7504: Here it is. Pal multi. It's very similar to the Remington R 3333 Boy Scout. Pal bought Remington after Remington switched to war production.

Here's a bail-less Pal for comparison. I love the old school can openers on these.

Yeah, that Remington patent opener is cool looking.
