Got this one a while back and wanted to ask y'all what you think. The bolsters are so uneven I'm wondering if it has been worked on/cobbled. Hopefully the pictures will show what I'm talking about. Everything is tight good snap no wobble in the blades. The bolsters are bigger on one side than the other....any thoughts? I've certainly never seen a Case this off symmetry

Strange. Maybe that was a transition year where they changed tooling and they goofed, putting an old pile side and new mark side (or visa versa) together.

I have a 1973 that is the same way. Not sure why they did them like this but I believe its the way they were made. Maybe knifeaholic or someone else with more knowledge will chime in as to why they are like this.

Doubtful. Case hasn’t made the pattern in years (actually decades I think).

That is an 094 pattern with a closed length of 4 1/4”. The knife in this thread is an 095 with a length of 5”. Case hasnt made the 095 since the early 80s.

Thanks for setting me straight...I love this site, learn something different every time I log on
Now I wonder if the 094 sharpener will fit this 095...we'll see what Case says soon.

You might find a donor knife on eBay and salvage a stone from it assuming, yours is in better condition. Pretty easy to set up a “watch” for one and have a notification sent when one comes up for sale.
