Safety Axe Question

I have a question about the Safety Axes with "EVERY HOUR OUT IN THE OPEN" burnt into the handle. Two eBay sellers seem to be listing them as originals. I have never seen originals with this on them, and I currently have a PDF of the 1909 Abercrombie and Fitch catalog up, and there's no such marking on that one either. I could swear these are the later reproductions made in the past 20-25 years. Am I correct?
