Robeson radio knife rare?

I thought I would post a picture of this knife and get some opinions on how rare it might be. I think it is called a radio repair knife. This one was made by Robeson. I have never seen one but that dosen't mean there aren't a lot of them out there. I'm not a tool knife guy,but maybe someone on AAPK is and can give me their opinion.

I dont know its rarity date or worth but i'd love to own it.

levines 3rd has a pic of a robeson like yours with sheepsfoot instead of a spear. very cool!

I don't have Levines 3rd edition,but I just found a picture of it in Jim Sargents' 5th edition page 482.

That knife is rare and desirable. I saw one go on ebay a long time ago, forget the sale price but it may have been 300-400.

Nice to know it has some value. I was looking at the tang stamps this evening and noticed that the knife blade is stamped robeson over shuredge over Rochester and the other two knives are stamped Robeson over cut co. over usa. I can't see any reason to believe the knife has been messed with so I guess it came that way from the factory. I don't know what years these stamps span.

Most older Robesons were marked that way.....different stamp on the smaller blades

Thanks pointing me in the right direction tank. Went to the link you provided and looks like all blades have a 1922-1939 stamp. Knife is in great shape for being that old all blades have half stops and excellent snap on opening and closing. A couple of very small handles chips on backside handle. Not bad considering the age and use it has probably had.
