I am in contact with a clarinet repair enterprise that is closing and has African Blackwood for sale at 1/2 price. I have no financial stake in this at all, but this may be of interest to knife mechanics.

African black wood is one of my favorite woods to work with and I think it's one of the most beautiful when finished properly.
