Schrade Cut Co gent

I was going through my pile, and found this older Schrade. It had a very chemical smell on it, so I ended up popping off the black covers and it was very corroded underneath. It was possibly outgassing, but not typical of what I have seen. Anyway, I soaked the liners in a baking soda solution and then cleaned things up. I decided on some nice acrylic Tortoise shell for the replacement covers, and no shield.

I'm really liking it, and the blade already has some nice patina on it. I'm always amazed at how sharp that old Schrade steel gets.

Excuse the crappy pics
