Great bargains are a random stroke of good luck, or a myth. The first, what other people have, and the second, what the rest of us are chasing.

Seriously Lenny, without knowing your route, you might want to visit Adamstown Pa. There are several miles of large shops along Rt. 272, which is just off the Pa. turnpike, where the pike intersects Rt. 222. The center of the antique district would be both east & west of Rt. 897. Adamstown is about half way between Lancaster & Reading. Good scenery in the area along Rt. 23 also. Look out for the Amish & Mennonite horse traffic.

You can spend way more than a day to hit all the shops in Adamstown. Your won't always find bargains, but you'll find the unusual. Things you don't find elsewhere. Lists of shops if you google.

Good Luck !

The Salmanca Antique mall is always a good bet when in the Bradford area. It is about 30 minutes or so from Bradford on I 86. If you are in the area let me know I have one or two I might consider getting rid of. HEH HEH! If I am free, I can also take you to the GEC factory. 20 minutes from the house!! I live close to Erie on the way to Ohio from Bradford. Any way good luck there are a lot of little shops along the way that do pretty well!
