Schatt and Morgan, Titusville Pa. 1903 - 1933

By the time S&M left New York in late 1902, they were making some of the best cutlery in the USA. After moving to Titusville the company enjoyed a rapid growth, doubling the size of their factory. By 1911 S&M were producing 600 patterns of pocketknives and had sold millions of pocketknives and razors.
Please share anything you might have with a T-ville stamp!!
A handful......
Not such a handful....

Beauties all...very nice knives, knowtracks. You have some super sweet S&Ms, for sure.
This is my favorite one from my collection:
Schatt & Morgan Wharncliffe Half Whittler pattern #2156
Apparently it is called "Imitation Stag" in the catalog, but it looks a lot like Greenbone to me (thank you, Bruno, for researching and identifying it).

Another delicious set of bones. Wow, nobody makes it like that these days unfortunately. Fabulous. Lost technology/art. Sad.

This is a pruner that was in pretty rough shape that I had cleaned up, re-handled, backspring filed and a fancy bail added!
Back in the day when you could still buy Mammoth Ivory online, I picked up the covers for this project.
A Medium Stock knife

Absolutely gorgeous mod: the mammoth, the file work...WOW...very nice. I'm turning green with envy

at all these sweet S&Ms you're showing, Dave, and kicking myself for selling most of my S&M collection (although I must admit, it's nice to have the new roof on my house that the sale helped pay for).

Great bunch of knives Dave
Added this 3" gunstock this week, has great bone for the size knife, main blade tang stamp pretty worn but pen still nice.
