Very attractive knife ! I think it is a Swell Center pen knife ?
Odd how every now & then a knife is found with markings no one has seen before and not in reference books.
Could be as old as 1920's.
Celluloid handles ?

Kumfi-Kut of Sheffield was the firm renowned mostly for their scissors and at one time sold more than 74% of all scissors in Sheffield England. Pocket knives by the firm are something of a rarity. Your knife is in very good shape Joe.

The below Stainless steel knife is from Mid 1900?

The pictured Scissor advertisement is very interesting. They call it "Chef's Scissor" to included a "Tack Hammer, Cap Lifter, Lid Priser." She's cutting fish and carrots.

Dan, i am very impressed that you know of this brand and even have an example of it.
I like scissors and have a small collection of them but i have never before seen "Kumfi-Kut" scissors. Now i will be looking for some.
Were they exported to North America ? I can't tell if the ad you posted is British or American.

I knew of the "Kumfi-Kut" scissors from prior research, however.....I failed to mention in my above post that the knife pictures are not mine. My apologies.

Your picture of the knife with the red background is interesting.
If you will compare its covers with the covers on my knife you will see a great similarity.
They had that figured out.

I put one of your photos side by side with the one Dan posted. Comparing the patterns in the celluloid, they are identical and I believe they are the same knife. It seems very unlikely that two pieces of celluloid could be exactly alike on two different knives.

That they were the same knife never occurred to me. I have seen other covers that were probably Delrin that
were of a same pattern and I assumed that was case here without giving it any thought. I should have thought .
Looking closely I see they are the same knife, indeed.
