Old knife;new info............

I've owned this particular knife for about 30 years and could never find out any history on it;primarily because the name stamped into it was illegible.
While going through my accumulation today I came upon it and decided I would try and decipher what was stamped into the tang. The name I finally came up with was,""E.F.Farias Monterrey" with what appeared to be the image of a soldier(a WWI Doughboy)holding a bayoneted rifle against a mountain back drop. The reverse side of the tang had something originally stamped on it but it had been ground off much like a factory second.My instinct was that it may have been French in origin due to the soldier image but that was not the case.
With this new information I started researching the name and the only hit was a post on Blade Forums from 2014 inquiring about a knife with this stamping.It did not however show any photographs. As I read the responses to the posts I was amazed to find that one of the persons who responded to the post was the grandson of the maker of the knife who posted in 2018.
The poster said that the maker was a man named Enrico Fabian Farias who was born in San Pedro de las Colonias Coahuila Mexico in 1882 and died in 1970. One of his businesses was the making of rope which was very successful.It did not elaborate however on the knife making business. It included a hotmail address as he was interested in acquiring one of the knives his grandfather made.
I sent him a note at the address provided today and hope I can get a response.Even if I do not I now have some information on the maker of the knife. Here are a couple of pictures of it.
