All About Pocket Knives

I got the sad news this morning that another church member passed away last night due to complications brought
on by COVID 19. My Brother in Christ Richard had been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks, but succumbed to lung
and heart issues. Please say a prayer for our church members, his wife Doris and a granddaughter he adored that
has been trying to get home for Christmas. She is a missionary in Czechia. Pray also that this horrible virus will
be brought under control before more lives are lost because of it.

Heavenly Father
Our hearts are heavy because of the recent loss of David's good friend and fellow church member.
Please comfort his family in this time of heartache. Please show them the life Richard has lived and how he wished others to live.
Please give strength to his wife Doris and show her you have her security in your hands!
And Father, please bless their granddaughter and give her a safe trip home.
Holy Father, this disease has taken a terrible toll on the people of the United States and people the world over. Please help the medical professionals and drug companies as the work to find a preventative for this disease.
People are scared and people are suffering. Please give us what we need from You, Heavenly father..... You wisdom is perfect.
May your Will be done.

David, God bless the family, church and friends of Richard to get through a difficult time. One side of that coin is so sad but the other side is Eternal life!

David, I am praying for Doris and the rest of his family, especially the granddaughter trying to come home from the mission field for Christmas.

We lost an acquiesce last week, wife's friend 's boy friend. He was a diabetic, caught covid and just couldn't fight it off.

I just watched the funeral service for my friend Richard on the church website. I so very much wish I could have been there.
The pastor’s message was from John 14:2 “In My Father’s house are many mansions” He said Brother Richard was in his mansion now with Jesus.

Amen to that!
