Nice knife. Stamp looks like Marbles but need a better picture to tell much about it.

Blade & tang have been buffed but you can still make out "Marbles" and "Gladstone". Is it a re-handled vintage Marbles or a recent one made about 1998-2005(?). Some of the recent ones were made by Mike Stewart (now Bark River owner) and are top notch essentially custom knives, but after Mike left some of the knives or blades are thought to have come from China.
I have no idea what vintage of Marbles this one is.

Yes made by Marbles for Ruger firearms. Marbles wanted to produce them and Ruger said no. I have a copy of an email i sent to verify it is one of a kind laminated.

So it’s of fairly recent production relative to Marbles’ history. Can’t say I blame Ruger for declining. No Ruger blade etch and that little Ruger emblem on the handle doesn’t appear too substantial from what I see in the picture. Looks like an afterthought. Not very practical for use, doesn’t make much of a “statement” for a Ruger collector. JMO

I noticed that too, Ken. Looks to be electro-plated brass that is peeling off the guard.

I became owner of the knife in 2012. The email from Craig Lauerman at Marble Arms stated, " only one made about 10-12 years ago". A magnet does not stick to the brass. Don't know about the handle, as for the Ruger emblem, it is a standard red on used on firearms before they went to black ones.

Boxwalker...a magnet shouldn't attract brass...brass is not magnetic. I believe my earlier statement was not in line with what Ken was referring to. I thought he was referencing to the guard where, in your photo, it appears to have a 'peeling' away of the surface, so that is why I stated it may have been electroplated with something that looks like brass. I have a knife with a guard similar to what I am seeing on your knife, and it is electroplated over a plastic guard.
I wasn't trying to be negative about your knife, just making a visual statement. Maybe what I was seeing were highlights from taking the photo.

Nevertheless, your knife does look nice. The handles look to be lucite.

This is the Marbles spacer sequence for the late 90's - early 2000's. Hard to tell what would have been done to a one of.
