Help to ID & Date a knife

I am slowly going through my Dad's knives and trying to ID and date them. This site has been really helpful with all of its research information. I have now run into a knife that I cannot find anything about it. It has no maker's name on the knife but on the tang has an arrow through a model number (H606 or H696) over USA (see pics). Can anyone provide me with a maker / date for this knife? Dad did not leave any information on this knife. Thanks for the help.

I have one of those. Beautiful bone scales and one of my favorites to carry. Can’t help you with the value.
