Question on Morton Bros Cut Co

Does anyone have info relating to Morton Bros Cut Co? I recently got an office knife by Morton in a small group of knives I bought and none of my books have anything on it.
The tang stamp is very weak and no photo would show it. I will post a photo of the knife. ::shrug::

Thanks,
Ray

Thanks, Johnnie.
I put a little fine emery to the tang but I just can't get enough of a reading to make a good determination. I can just make out the ROS of what I believe to be BROS. It's placement on the tang makes me believe there was something above and because of the stamping on the handle, I believe it is MORTON BROS.

You know, nothing changes under the sun. I have heard that adage many times.

It seems the same practice today.......this guy buying that name.... ABC company going under and selling its name to XYZ......... these knives were made by so and so, for so and so. It's the same practice of old.

Nothing new under the sun.

But, I guess the fun of it is in the discovery.
