Unusual G. Schrade Pull Ball Knife

I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about this knife, it has tiny dice on the end instead of the standard ball. From my very limited experience with other pull ball knives the pull seems to be factory attatched. Perhaps it was some sort of giveaway. Both sides have been hand engraved, one "F. Lewis" and the other "F. Louis". Unfortunately, the spring has been broken. Stamped "G Schrade Knife Co Inc B'Port CT USA" and "PATS 11-9-27 10-19-44". Thanks for any help that can be provided.

It was the invention of George Schrade and I am sure within reason that the die in place of the ball was original from the factory.
In looking at the engraving on the handle, it looks to me to be either Ft or maybe Fr (for Father, as in church).
Very nice and I am sure there will be someone along who can replace the spring for you.

Thanks for everyone's input, I'm new to AAPK and somewhat new to knife collecting. I have a few other knives I'll be asking questions about. Thanks again.
