Another NO LINE tang stamp

I ran across this no line tang stamp bone handled 12 in the bay. A lot of the offering in the first year of production after the war had bone handles which I love. But the exciting thing to me is that it is the elusive no line tang stamp. This makes my third, a 17, a 72 and now this 12. It has a small crack in the spine of the pen blade hardly noticeable. Thrilled to find it! Thanks for sharing my excitement. ::handshake::

Thanks Doc, bone always gets me. ::handshake::

Roland, I have read that it was 46-55 but I'm not sure how much it was used later. The 99 camp knife used it a lot, and the military rope knife used it as well stamped over stainless as did some fish knives. That is just from my observation. Thanks. ::handshake::

Skip the no line's are always an exciting find to me. Thanks. ::handshake::

Tommy, it was only used a little after the war. I learned of it from Jerry and Vit and am always on the look out for them. Always excited when I find one. They are scarce enough that they don't drive up the price. My third one and always on the look out. My no line 72 is my favorite. Thanks. ::handshake::
