Just curious, can anyone tell me the significance of the one dot showing between the Case Stamp and the XX? I have three knives with the same tang stamp dating to 1965-1980. (3Finn SSP, 366, 365 SAB) I've found several dating to the same time period but none showing the one dot. I'm looking forward to some input and thank you.

Just to make sure...are you saying you have 3 with the dot between the Case and the XX? I have a 366 65-80...no dot.

🤔 By the way it's centered, it looks pretty intentional to me. ::shrug::

According to Brad Wood's Case piece in the last Sargent's, its a 1979 knife. After this year Case used the same dot system as used for the folders in the 80's.
