All About Pocket Knives

Hello from Kentucky. I am trying to help my sister-in-law to disperse with some of the knives from her husband's estate. unfortunately I have no knowledge of the value of what she has. They are all switchblades. The top three are ROSTFREI. The fourth says ITALY INOX. The fifth is not marked. The sixth says ITALY INOX. The sixth says MILANO. The seventh has and ANCHOR INOX. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, all are fairly modern Italian knives and sell in a range from 40 to 100 each these days ... give or take a few bucks.

Welcome to AAPK , Nice of you to help family out. Maybe stick around a bit, great group. Got a few of these myself and believe that 40 to 100 dollars is in there. The Switch blade guys will be able to give you more detailed per piece. Are you a knifer yourself .? Have a good one, stay safe.

to AAPK dc44! The 3 knives on the far left, in the top picture, could be worth a little more than what was suggested, due to them appearing to be Puma Medici manual conversions. As manual knives they can command prices from about US$150.- $300. depending on condition and the seller, but being converted to automatics should improve on those prices somewhat. It's usually the old story of, "it depends on what the buyer is willing to pay"! All very nice knives, and best of luck selling them!

Not to sound like a know it all but the "Puma " styled knives shown are not conversions but (similar to Puma) Italian knives from the 70s up to the few that were put together from old parts in the 80/90s if memory serves me,,,, they typically fetch 75 to 150 at the top mark for a nice one, OR whatever one will pay, ive had a few of them ,,,, cool little knives !

I know nothing about switchblade knives. But it’s good to see another Kentuckian here on the board! Welcome from down around Allen Co.!

Are you being as "wiseguy", wiseguy? lol! You are very likely correct in your assessment of the Puma "lookalikes", I had only seen the Puma conversions but never the Italians, so that's what prompted me to make that statement. You certainly don't sound like a know-it-all, just stating the facts as you know them! Thanks for the correction, I learn somethin' new everyday!

The smallest knife, to the right, is a 10cm(4") Italian production also. It was also sold as a kit knife. If it were a kit, the pin that the blade pivots on would have a screw head instead of a peened head. Hope this wasn't too confusing. The anchor over inox is second generation of this mark, 80s-90s. Retail around $40.
