I couldn't sleep so I was just looking through E-bay and came up on a Schrade 47OT Beast. I just had to look at it and I found something that doesn't quite fit. Oh, BTW the item # is 230209811412 and it's listed as a U.S.A. Schrade Beast Old Timer 47OT. The head line for the auction said U.S.A. Schrade. All the other pictures of it show a Schrade U.S.A. tang stamp on the blade. The thing that didn't quite fit is, if you read the description the seller gives for the knife, it states in only two short words China made. Does anyone think that by the way the seller has this knife advertised, the seller is being mis-leading about it? Think that the seller did this on purpose? I've got me own ideal about this but, I wanted to know what others opinions are about it? Someone that knows more about computers than I do can post a link to this knife cause, I don't know how.

He states this "
the Pictures are a representation Of the Style and design of the knives."
And this
"China Made."
So I am sure it is made in China. and showing a USA made one but says it right.

hope you know how to read, because what you will get will be a farrrrrrrrrrrrr cry from the usa made one. Myself I would'nt advertise like this he's just asking for a negative review, when someone dosen't read the discription fully.

We see this one alot>> "I don't know much about knives so please take a good look at the pictures before biding on the idem"<<<<< now we hear this alot and alot of folks think this is a scam.

Buyer BEWARE!!!

It's clear enough to me where the knife is made: China. Not every ebayer, particularly an outfit like the one offering the knife, is going to be sensitive to made in china issues like we collectors are.
