Any clue about this knife?

Hello
Does anyone know anything about this knife I got last week? The only reason I posted it in this section is that it look similar to some knives I have seen that were made in Solingen, Germany. It has no markings at all (at least none that I can see). I think I paid arough $5 (US) for it, so not a big deal, just am curious if anyone has any knowledge about this knife.

Hi Mark, this is a Solingen Richardz made around 1940's. they can be roughly dated by the style of the tin opener. There were many manufactures based in Solingen and yours does look to be typical of the style and period of mine. Have a good look at the base of the tang on the big blade, any mark may have rubbed of through repeated opening and closing but there may just be a shadow left under the right lighting conditions. I have sometimes managed to find a mark not visible to the naked eye by photographing from various angles then magnifying the images on a computer, you may get lucky! Hope this helps, Dave

Thanks for checking this out. So, I was close with my gut reaction being German made pre-1950ish? I tried looking for marking with maginfiing glass, never thought of taking phoos and enlarging them, I'll have to give that a go.

I would love to take the credit but my information came from s-k when I first got the knife and I wasn't sure what it was
